Choosing Keeping

We are delighted to have a fabulous new neighbour next door to us in Columbia Road. 

This is the very lovely Julia in her shop Choosing Keeping which opened just last weekend. 

Julia sells carefully selected stationery products from around the world. Beautiful fountain pens, unusual pencils and incredibly desirable pencil sharpeners, including my favourite, a small brass sharpener that you can adjust according to how wide your pencil is and comes in it's own little leather case! There are all kinds of notebooks, paperweights with floating dandelions, and a small but thoughtful selection of books. 

If you can't make it to Columbia Road, Choosing Keeping will also be selling online very soon.

Rob Ryan in New York City

Rob will also be having his first solo New York show this September, exhibiting papercuts and screen rints from his  brand new 2013 calendar for the American publisher Rizzoli.

Rob Ryan at Charleston Gallery

Just a reminder that Rob's show of ceramics is still on at the Charleston Gallery in East Sussex until October 28th, when the house will then close until spring next year.

If you have never visited Charleston , you must!! the house and gardens are so beautiful.

Rob has been shortlisted for the ELLE decoration British Design Awards 2012!

There will be six winners decided by public vote, which is now open until September 24th and the winners will be announced in ELLE Decoration's December issue.
